Baking

First day of the stay over! Today most of the time was spent on baking!
Gracia came over at 11 plus this morning. She kept saying she attracted too many attention with her "sentosa" look, wearing tank, short and slippers. XD Lunch together with papa and mummy then went to the area near hy to get a bed. Like finally getting one after surviving the broken one for 3 months! Congratulate me. -.-
Went IMM to get the ingredients after that. It's so fun shopping for the baking needs! :D Wanted to get baking chocolate initially so we can put them into the muffins to bake them so they melt inside. But the baking chocolate was out of stock so had to opt for normal cadbury milk choco bar instead.
Started off by baking muffins. Chocolate muffins rocks! It turned out well on the appearance. The only sad part is the cadbury chocolate don't melt. :( Gracia said we can open a bakery already. She suggested forking out $5 as capital and asked me how much I investing... XD like can really open with such low capital huh... After baking had to take out the muffins so wore oven gloves. But I scared the glove is too thin so wore two gloves over one another. Then Gracia say very cute ask me pose for a picture. There I gave her something epic and she couldn't stop laughing! XD
Tried to make chocolate sponge cake after that with the ready-made sponge cake mix bought from giant. Made a super BIG mistake. The instruction put 75ml and I mistaken it for 750ml. So in the end the batter turned out to be too watery. T.T Had no choice but to walk to IMM again to buy another pack of mix. -.- Another mix just ruined at my hands. I'm so impressive. XD
After all was done we started making icing sugar. However don't know why it turned out to be too watery. Maybe baking today was destined to be watery. But the taste is nice! And the blue is pretty too! It tastes like lemonade probably because lemon was added. So I guess icing considered a success too. Decorated the muffins with the icing made. although it's not very pretty but I guess the taste should be alright :D
